The facility, which has been given to FC Porto by Porto City Council for a period of 25 years, not only serves the club's swimming, but also the boxing and adapted sports sections. The opinion among the athletes and coaches of the respective disciplines is unanimous: the infrastructure will allow for better sporting results and attract more young people to practise sport. In the new complex, there is space for several changing rooms, weight training and nursing rooms, offices and state-of-the-art equipment.
