Cinema Trindade is a historic cinema in the city of Porto. It opened in 1913 as Salão Jardim da Trindade. It included a theatre with a cinema, a party room, a café, billiards and a terrace. Its success led to a refurbishment in 1957 by architects Viana de Lima and Agostinho Ricca, transforming it into a cinema theatre and balcony, giving rise to the Cinema Trindade.
Américo Santos, founder of Nitrato Filmes, is currently in charge of the Trindade and it was he who decided to rebuild the cinema for the fourth time. It reopened to the public on 5 February 2017, with 2 cinemas (169 and 183 seats) with 4 daily sessions in each, open every day of the week.
