Caldeiraria is an art gallery that aims to promote the artistic practices that flourish in Porto and to make them accessible to a wide audience.

Located in the historic center of Porto, Caldeiraria emerges in 2023 from the opportunity to recover and revitalize a space in a building on Rua dos Caldeireiros administered by the confraternity ‘Confraria da Nossa Senhora da Silva’ — once managed by the city's blacksmiths, boilermakers, and fish hookers, the building used to be a Hospital , and from the desire to affect space to contemporary cultural production.

Caldeiraria hosts exhibitions, artist talks, gatherings, and presentations on socio-economic and cultural issues, contributing to the dynamism of the cultural fabric and creating synergies between different forms of knowing and making.
