Exactly two years after Ha Ha Heartbreak, Maarten Devoldere’s Warhaus project returns with a new album, Karaoke Moon. In this work, which captures the essence of the Belgian singer-songwriter’s unique style, stereotype-defying songs take us on a journey from introspection to dance, from the dark to the playful, from the mellow to the energetic. The album is woven with literary references, sophisticated choral and string arrangements, and sharp explorations of themes such as masculinity, vulnerability, and the complex nature of human emotions.
