In 2025, we celebrate the first centenary of the birth of Carlos Paredes, a unique figure in Portuguese music whose revolutionary work continues to inspire and enchant all who listen to it.

In this concert, we invite you to journey through the compositions of Gonçalo Paredes, Carlos Paredes, Pedro Caldeira Cabral, and Alcino Frazão. Accompanying the Portuguese guitar, classical guitar, clarinet, and bass clarinet will be prose and poetry, brought to life by the voices of Nuno Meireles and José António Gomes, in a musical exploration inspired by the paths opened by Paredes' guitar.
