OASRN is hosting the launch and presentation of the 8th edition of the scientific publication Sophia Journal Vol. 8 No. 1 - "Landscapes of care: photography, film, modern architecture and landscape heritage", organised by the Architecture, Art and Image (AAI) group of the Centre for Architecture and Urbanism Studies (CEAU) of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP). It will take place on 20 March 2024 at 6pm at the OASRN headquarters.
After the official opening of the session by the OASRN, Pedro Leão Neto (Editor-in-Chief) will present the Sophia Journal and the scopio Editions editorial project. After his speech, he will give the floor to Hugh Campbell (UCD), who will moderate the informal round table with all the other Editors: Igea Troiani (LSBU), João Leal (P. PORTO / ESMAD), Igea Troiani (LSBU), João Leal (P. PORTO / ESMAD), Igea Troiani (LSBU), Igea Troiani (LSBU) and João Leal (LSBU). PORTO / ESMAD), Mark Durden (USW/eCDR), Rikke Munck Petersen (UCPH) and Teresa Ferreira (FAUP/CEAU).
Hugh Campbell is Professor of Architecture in the School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy at University College Dublin. His research focuses on modern and contemporary architectural production, the relationship between photography, architecture and built space, and the visual culture of cities. She is a member of the AHRA steering group and the board of Places Journal, for which she collaborates regularly.
