Sol Raso presents a material and superficial photographic event on polyurethane foams. Chemical-free solar prints, resulting from a 30-day exposure time emerge as something akin to the effect of a sun-tan on human skin, making images appear incandescent or projected by a technological device. This technique, developed by the artist as a strategy for probing dilated exposure times with natural light sources - such as fire or sun rays - speak of a primitive desire to produce images in an effort to make sense of the world around us.
