Over the past few months, Armazéns do Porto Art Gallery has been working to assemble a collection of works by the renowned artist Noronha da Costa. An artist who has inspired and fascinated us from the beginning with his philosophical interest in the phenomenology of perception and the noetic dimension of art, testing, through different mediums, techniques, and materials, the place of historical conventions, ways of seeing, and classical representation on the "screen".

In this context, on May 4th, at 4 pm, we will inaugurate a retrospective exhibition of Noronha da Costa, bringing together unpublished works by a vanguardist who left his mark on the contemporary Portuguese scene in painting, sculpture, and cinema.
