Random Reference - Regular Classes at The Alchemist
First Class - 22nd Of March

Random Reference finds itself between all my movement practices. The non-definition of a practice allows me to create synergies among styles within an urban/contemporary cloud. I gradually boil bodies through improvisation, absorbing phrases and techniques along the way.

When & Where?
The first class will happen on the 22nd of March, at The Alchemist's top floor, situated on Rua Formosa 325.
The class has a duration of two hours, from 11h - 13h.
Bring comfy apparel, water and something to eat during a short break if needed.

About me:
Born in Porto, Duarte graduated ESD in 2014. He researches both contemporary & urban practices, a movement study he refers to as Random Reference. Duarte worked with choreographers such as Marco da Silva Ferreira, Jonas & Lander, Gregory Maqoma, Emmanuelle Hyuhn, Drosha Gherkov, Mafalda Deville, Thierry Smits and Catarina Miranda.
Choreographed Rubble King in 2021, nominated by SPA Autores in 2022, and is in the process of creating Placa Mãe and Turbo Escape with Cacá Otto Reuss.
