A selection of images from the Manuel Pinheiro da Rocha Fund belonging to the Portuguese Photography Centre that reveal the work of this photographer, who was as brilliant with his tailor's scissors as he was with his camera. Manuel Pinheiro da Rocha left a legacy of more than five thousand images, from which it was difficult to exclude most to include only those in this exhibition. A lover of landscapes, human beings, festivals, arts and crafts, country life as well as urban life, rural and river labour, we can see, from the panoply of his interests, images from his personal and professional life that paint an intimate portrait of the man and the artist.
