The exhibition “Estranho Terrível Outro”, on show at i3S from 16 January to 19 March, is the result of a series of conversations about cancer between artist Agostinho Santos and pathologist Manuel Sobrinho Simões.

In connection with the exhibition, there will be a series of debates between artists and scientists around ‘’Estranho Terrible Outro‘’.
In these sessions, the viewer is invited to embark on a journey through the artist's pictorial and creative universe and to consider the relationship between the works and the theme. The aim is to encourage interdisciplinary reflection, highlighting the dialogue between two narratives - Science and Art.
