Nunca Mates o Mandarim is a project that is real, but always yet to exist, by the hand of three musicians from Porto with some time to kill. Mashing the poetic and the mundane, formed by the rough city where they grew up and by all those who choose Portuguese, from Portuguese writer Eça to Pimba music, this indie-pop-rock triplet aims to one day come across one of their lyrics graffitied on a wall in downtown Porto.
Founded in 2019, "Cassete Bipolar" is the solo project of Ricardo Salazar Gomes, whose artistic base is rooted in the city of Porto. With a fusion of Folk, Blues and Punk, the lyrics of "Cassete Bipolar" explore deep and universal themes, addressing issues of everyday life, personal reflections, and engaging stories.
