The Norte Surf Fest is an event that will celebrate surf culture on September 27, 28 and 29, at Praia de Matosinhos and Praia Internacional, in a gathering for those who love the region's beaches.
This will be the first edition of an event that will bring the first celebration of this scale to the north of the country, where the highlight will be the attempt to break the world record for the largest number of surfers riding the same wave simultaneously. In addition, there will be lectures with some of the main opinion leaders and international experts, training and education activities on prevention and water safety, an exhibition on the evolution of surfing in Portugal and the world, a schools championship, among other activities.
The event is organized by the Association of Surf Schools in Portugal, with the support of the Tourism of Portugal, Tourism of Porto and North of Portugal, Municipality of Matosinhos, Municipality of Porto, among other entities and companies.
