Our last Candela night of the year!

We are the Candela collective, and since 2023 we have sought to amplify the voices of female, cis and trans poets. We organize monthly poetry nights at Casa da Horta.

The night is not thought of as a performance, but rather as a welcoming space where we can amplify the voices of female poets who, despite their talent, often do not receive fair recognition.

At the end of the night we also have an informal circle to exchange recommendations for books by female authors (poetry or not).

The meeting is free and open to everyone, whether to participate by reading poems or just listening.

Casa da Horta offers delicious and vegan dishes for those who want dinner and drinks, all at an affordable price (cash payment only).
