Henrique Furtado Vieira and Lígia Soares have come together for the first time in a co-creation to study, reproduce and reinvent artistic forms resulting from collapsing systems and thereby create a collection of performances based on the historical relationship between the crisis and the emergence of different artistic avant-gardes.
Dying for the Birds aims to find ways to meaningfully share with the public the end of a world as we have come to know it and to remember the power of expressing the meaningless collectively. A collection of funeral rituals that can confront us with emptiness, fear, dehumanization and, above all, with each other.
