In this masterclass, award-winning director Leonor Teles and actor Vicente Gil present a session on how to direct actors on film. Leonor Teles, author of films like Balada de um Batráquio (2016, Golden Bear at Berlin), shares her approach to guiding an actor’s performance so that their interpretations remain faithful to their character’s intentions and the filmmaker’s vision. Vicente Gil, who worked with the director on Cães Que Ladram Aos Pássaros (2019), also shares his perspective as an actor.
