This Short Course offers a plural approach to literature for children. Historical aspects, classic and contemporary names and texts, forms and special editions, among others, will be briefly covered.

Authors, texts/works and trends from the past and the present will be introduced, (re)read or revisited, as "nodal points" of this special literary universe, which favours children but which, in fact, simultaneously represents a challenge for other readers, providing for different ways of reading.
