In the week of Elis Regina's birthday – she would have turned 80 if she were alive – Hora de Ponta pays tribute to the great Brazilian interpreter by going through its shelves in search of traces of the musical style that was eternalised by her voice: bossa nova.
Hora de Ponta is a weekly activity organised by Fonoteca Municipal do Porto (FMP). Every Wednesday, between 6pm and 7pm, the public is invited to visit this space to an informal get-together and to listen to a selection of records associated to a specific theme.
