Circuitos'24 is year zero of an initiative that aims to bring visibility to the people and projects that shape the city's artistic scene, with the aim of strengthening contact and familiarity between the public and Porto's contemporary production.

In total, there are around 50 spaces for creating, showing and thinking about art in an itinerary to discover throughout three days. From institutional and museum contexts to artist-run art spaces and commercial galleries, each of these spaces includes a suggested daily circuit, plus a list of events with different program proposals, including openings, concerts, performances, talks and other activities.

As part of this initiative, the Galeria Municipal do Porto is holding a talk on November 16 at 5pm in the Almeida Garret Library Auditorium on the subject of“The contemporary art scene in Porto today: what are the potentials and challenges?”, with Eduarda Neves, Mário Silva, Marta Almeida, Mauro Cerqueira, Pedro Álvares Ribeiro and Rita Senra, moderated by João Laia and Matilde Seabra. Right after the talk, at 7pm, Angolan musician Bonga performs at Jardins do Palácio de Cristal.
