GA is a solo about the internal processes of having the word blocked by stuttering, reflected within a dance style - Locking, which is also expressed through blocking and acceleration. I say I've been doing Locking since I was 12 years old, but in reality I've been stopping since I was 5 years old. Through the body, I show what happens inside a person who stutters - the planning, the contouring, the commanding with force, the holding back, the having the courage to show up, the prolongations that seem to have no end.
