The Fundação–Fuga exhibition explores the memory of a place, a gesture and an action. Its title reflects two opposing movements that complement each other: foundation, connected to building and groundwork, and escape, implying movement, disruption and transgression. It is a reflection on memory and the body, public and private, interior and exterior, somewhere between the desire to create a space for identity and the urgency of escape and reconstruction, exploring the dynamics between construction, destruction, stability and transformation.
