Open to all community, the festival is organized by Compassio which is an association that offers a new way to bare the pain of grief. Helping others to break the silence by creating supportive networks.

On 24th of May, Porto will host the first ever edition of a Grief Festival, a new event aimed at transforming how we experience and navigate losses—whether it’s people, relationships, jobs, health, or dreams.

In a time marked by profound emotional illiteracy, the Grief Festival emerges as a call to action and a starting point for the necessary cultural shift: to openly talk about loss and grief, without embarrassment, offering place where you can be listened and have te opportunity to bound within the community.

Throughout the day, the festival will feature conversations, spaces, and artistic statements, as well as awareness-raising activities that encourage sharing and listening, free from judgment, clichés, or absolute truths.
