"APNEIA" reflects a pictorial approach that connects Water with the present day. Just as the human body needs to resort to holding its breath (apnea) to move through water while swimming or diving, the human body also often has to resort to situations of "immersion" (subway) in order to move through a city, which can be interpreted figuratively as "apneas."
