On November 2nd (Saturday) at 7pm, Brazilian author and feminist Yasmin Morais (@yasminescritora / @vulvanegra), founder of the Vulva Negra project, will be at Casa Odara for the 'Transatlantic Feminist Dialogues' with mediation by Mozambican artist Inês Mutaca (@inesmutaca).
In this event, Yasmin Morais, who is currently on tour in Europe, will discuss issues dear to the women's movement, such as the defense of sexual and reproductive rights, the advance of the extreme right in the world, the creation of strategies for our preservation and the importance of love in women's lives.
Open to the general public and with free admission, the 'Transatlantic Feminist Dialogues' promise to promote a space for welcoming, sharing and necessary reflections between us.
With a special focus on the experiences of black women, women from the Global South and immigrant women, the Dialogues are aimed at creating bridges, points of connection and affective intellectual nourishment for the days to come.
