Join us for a Generative Art Workshop with artist and creative coder Yin Liu.

This workshop introduces creative coding using the open-source JavaScript library P5.js. You will explore the history of generative and interactive art, learn fundamental P5.js commands, and use them to draw basic shapes.

At the end of the session, you’ll get to code your face emoji.

No prior coding experience needed.
Bring your laptop – everything else will be provided.

Yin Liu, a visual artist and creative developer from China, explores the intersection of analogue and digital media. With a background in game development and interactive art, she blends hand-drawn techniques with generative coding. Based in Porto since 2023, she creates work that navigates the boundary between human creativity and algorithmic design, while also teaching Creative Coding.
