In the year in which Portugal celebrates the 50th anniversary of 25 April 1974, COR(p)O METROPOLITANO arrives in Porto, more specifically at the Coliseu Porto Ageas, to perform April in September, based on their own repertoire and the April songbook. April in September is a show celebrating freedom, paying tribute to the artists who sang April and praising radio for its fundamental role in spreading the revolution of 25 April 1974.

A polyphonic and inter-municipal choir made up of hundreds of voices from the communities of the 17 municipalities of the Metropolitan Area of Porto (AMP) will come together again for a new edition. The unprecedented show, which in 2024 celebrates Freedom, the artists of April and radio, is scheduled for 8 September at 5pm at the Coliseu Porto Ageas. The show is free to attend, subject to collecting a ticket and the capacity of the venue.
