QOA works with listening as a tool to tune in to the environment around us and our own being, focusing on the materiality of sound as a vibrational existence that occupies, moves and traverses the air around us. They generate bodily experiences of expanded listening. Its sound ranges from low frequencies, processed field recordings of natural environments, live sampling of acoustic objects like rocks and branches, spoken word, synthesis, and rhythmic spectral convolutions, creating an expanded listening experience that invites you to immerse yourself in a time. floating. QOA is part of the AMPLIFY Digital Arts Initiative (Amplify D.A.I), an international network of artists from Argentina, Canada, Peru and the United Kingdom, supported by Mutek and the British Council. This year, they were one of eight Latin American artists selected for Nicolas Jaar’s Ladridos project. They performed at different festivals such as MUTEK Argentina, San Francisco & Japan, Domo Lleno, Colombia, CCK, Planetarium, Argentina. QOA publishes music on different labels (Aural Canyon, Krut Records, Fluere Tapes). His upcoming album “Sauco” will be released on the Leaving Records label in Los Angeles this June. QOA also makes installations that were presented at Museu Oi Futuro (Brazil), Fundação Andreani, Bienal SUR, Museu MACRO (Argentina), Agora Collective (Berlin), Flux Factory (NY, USA).
