The new public course under the Colectivos Pláka municipal programme on reflection and discussion about society and contemporary art will be organized by Italian artist Pauline Curnier Jardin, and aims to explore the theme of heterotopias (Foucault, 1967) of spectacle and entertainment. This workshop will question how we can transform the device of illusion into a critical tool to face contemporary challenges, taking Jardin's work as a starting point, namely her Freestanding Joys, installations of medium/large size where the artist projects her films.
