Witch hunt: systematic persecution of sections of the population, especially women, carried out with the aim of punishing individuals for witchcraft offences.


In this brief staging of a trial, we propose to engage in a role-play with the audience (or, if you prefer, a guessing game) in which various medieval and contemporary trials are discussed, trying to detect what they have in common. What words are repeated? What constitutes an accusation of witchcraft after all? In the end, the aim is to briefly reflect on the language of the time, its repetition and/or its re-signification – Teresa Coutinho
