There's a party at Cinema Trindade!
To celebrate the 7th anniversary of the rebirth of Cinema Trindade, its director Américo Santos is proposing a commemorative programme with film screenings for all ages. "The choice of films resulted from the idea of creating a meeting point between memory and contemporary cinema," he says. This edition features two new sections, "Trindade Classics", which aims to recover unmissable or rare films from the analogue era, and "Made in Porto", which aims to give visibility to cinema made in the city. The films on the programme, which were made in Portugal, will also be attended by the filmmakers and their teams. In addition to the film screenings, on Saturday 10 February at 11am there will be a conversation with director Luiz Fernando Carvalho and actress Maria Fernanda Cândido, from the film The Passion According to G.H., at the Batalha Cinema Centre.
