On April 15, Mindshake will host the event Água Oculta do Porto (Hidden Water of Porto), an initiative integrated into the World Creativity and Innovation Week (WCIW 2025). The event offers an immersive and creative experience focused on water — that essential, often invisible element that shapes our city and our lives. This activity is part of this year’s selected theme: Blue Creativity.
A city shaped by water
The event is based on the premise that water is everywhere — though often hidden. Through a guided tour led by historian Joel Cleto, participants will discover the traces, stories, and infrastructures that reveal Porto’s relationship with underground, channeled, or forgotten water.
From the walk to visual creation
Inspired by this urban exploration, the group will take part in a graphic and creative intervention workshop, led by the Mindshake team and designers T*I*N*A (Sérgio Correia and Elias Marques), in collaboration with illustrator Tina Siuda. In this phase, city maps will become the canvas for visual interpretations of water, urban flows, and the memory of the territory.
