The work is based on the metaphor that mirrors are technologies of seduction that reproduce distorted images based on reflections forged in the colonial wound. The work is an invitation to think about ancestry, aesthetics and counter-colonial politics as a strategy for thinking about Afro-Atlantic corporealities and denouncing racism.
