The ‘Discovering Liberal Porto’ project is part of the Norte Pontual cultural support programme and aims to promote and disseminate knowledge about the liberal period in the city of Porto, a phase marked by profound political, social and cultural transformations that are fundamental to understanding the identity and development of the northern region of Portugal.

‘Discovering Liberal Porto’ has the mission of promoting and valorising the cultural and historical heritage linked to liberalism in Porto, through a series of activities and initiatives that involve both the local community and visitors.

We therefore invite you to take part in the first STONE AND CAL trail IN A NEW CITY: Architecture and urbanism in the affirmation of the Liberal ideology, under the guidance of José António Ferreira e Silva, which will take place on 19 October, 15h00.
