Sonic Adventures | A series of workshops on sound and music in the Sonoscopia studio.
If you're interested in exploring the possibilities of sound in a vintage recording environment and want to learn new techniques and methods for creating original and experimental music, join us at Sonoscopia's new studio for this series of four workshops.
The workshops are open to anyone who wants to expand their sonic horizons, regardless of their musical training or experience. The workshops are limited to 10 people per session and the cost will be 10 sonos per person for one workshop session or 30 sonos if you want to come to all four sessions. Saturday April 13th

w/ Wouter Jaspers & João Ricardo
In this workshop, the focus will be on exploring how different sounds can be produced, modified and combined with studio equipment. Learn how to use filters, effects and microphones to create musical movements that range from the subtle to the radical. You'll also hear and analyze examples of experimental music that use these techniques, such as concrete music and sound art. At the end of the workshop, the idea is to collectively create an original piece of music.
